City Planning Commission Meeting 2/12/26 5:30pm. 915 I Street, 1st floor, Sacramento, Ca 95814
Why is this project wrong for
East Sacramento?
Highlights:
The Planning district has already put in a height limit of 35 feet. The proposed 6-story building is nearly twice the allowed height. 3-4x taller than surrounding homes. Approving this project sets a dangerous precedent.
Project adds 332 unites plus retail space which creates an addtional 990,236 vehicle trips per year, in an already highly congested and collision prone area.
These units will add approx. 102,902 gallons of sewage per day (>37M gallons per year) in a wastewater system that is already aging faster that it can be repaired.
Contact Sacramento city officials and demand that they enforce the 35-foot height limit, prevent traffic hazards, preserve historic properties, and stop overloading the failing sewer system!
